As online marketers we’re constantly learning new marketing techniques. We have to, After all, the Internet of today is quite different than the Internet of just six months, or a year ago, much less five years ago.

To stay ahead we’ve got to keep reading what others are doing and then choosing which methods to try for ourselves. With that in mind, wouldn’t it be nice if we could develop a photographic memory so we would only need to glance at a page and instantly know what it says?

Imagine the time saved in our learning process.

That’s why when I came across an article on how to develop a photographic memory, I felt I had to share it with you.

You’ll need 15 minutes a day for a month, and you shouldn’t miss even one day of training or you’ll be set right back for an entire week.

In a completely dark room (a bathroom or large closet with no windows works well) install a bright lamp with a switch you can reach.

Grab a book, then cut a hole in a sheet of paper the size of one paragraph. Cover the page with the paper and hold the book in front of you. Adjust the distance so your eyes can focus instantly on the writing.

Now switch off the light and let your eyes adjust to the dark. Flip on the switch for a second and flip it off again, looking at the page.

Keep doing this. It probably sounds a bit crazy, right? But they claim you will get a visual imprint of the material, and eventually you will be able to read that visual imprint word for word.

They also mention the military has been using this technique for 70 years. In World War II this method was used to train air-crew gunners aircraft identification skills,

It was found the gunners were holding on to the split second images in their minds and some of them became so good at it, they could retain entire pages of information. Apparently this is how photographic memory training was born.

Here’s the link so you can get the rest of the details.

Good luck – I’ll be trying this myself and perhaps in a months time you and I will both have something in common with Mr. 007.
