The other day I wanted to write a blog post on a hot topic, but I was totally stuck on what to write about. So I started perusing other people’s blogs in the same niche to try and get some inspiration and it suddenly hit me right on the nose..
If you get stuck about something to write about, just check out other relevant blogs in your niche and find the posts with the most social shares. Because you’ll then find the topics pushing people’s hot interest buttons.
For example, if you’re in marketing and you see 3 different posts from the last year or so on pricing your products that all have lot’s of shares compared to other posts, you know pricing is a winning topic to cover.
Obviously don’t copy other people’s posts, that’s just wrong, but they can give you an idea of what to write about. You’ll find it soon flows…
