If you’ve known me for even a short while, you’ll know that membership sites and good quality PLR are 2 of my online passions. Mainly because I’m a huge believer in the fact that if you put the 2 together, then you have a product you can easily sell online.
So I thought I’d do a series of articles on PLR and what it’s all about.
Selling good quality PLR is what made me a huge amount of money when I first set up my membership sites back in 2005 and as far as I’m concerned, the PLR model is as good now as it was then.
So what is a PLR membership site? (From a members perspective)..
Basically it’s a site you join and then when new products become available for resell or to be modified, you are notified, or there may be a set day of the month or the week when you know new stuff will be added and you can just login and retrieve it.
Joining this type of site is a lot less time consuming than searching around to try to find the product(s) exactly right for your niche market because joining a PLR membership site with an excellent reputation means you can relax knowing their products will be of high quality and do the job you expect them to do. In other words, you’ll spend less time and money and have some excellent stuff you are can use on your own sites.
So if you’re wondering whether a PLR membership site is right for you, the answer is absolutely yes, especially if you’re planning to resell your own products. It’s also a lot easier than creating your own product, which can take weeks or even months and cost you a lot of money. (There’s no excuse to not have your stuff up and running online)..
Using PLR is easy, and as long as you don’t make idle/rookie mistakes such as using it unedited, you’ll soon find it doesn’t matter because no one else should notice.
There are a ton of PLR membership sites out there so you need to ensure you chose the ones you join very carefully.
Read their terms and conditions to ensure you’re using the material correctly and they are giving you exactly what you want and need. Also check for samples of their PLR so you can ensure the writer has english as a first language or at least they have a very good grasp of it. (It’s very difficult to edit PLR when the original writer doesn’t understand the basic principles of syntax in the english language). Check the reputation of whom the site belongs to especially if you haven’t heard of them before so you know they are trustworthy.
If anyone has any other suggestions, I’d love to hear them…
