A number of years ago Benjamin Franklin famously said “Time is money”  Theodor Adorno then later added, “If time is money, it seems moral to save time, above all one’s own, and such parsimony is excused by consideration for others. It was obvious they both knew the score when it comes to cold hard cash…

To be honest whilst it’s great to put in 110% percent time and effort when you need to so you can watch your business grow successful, it can be really lonely. It eats into your life and you end up making a lot of sacrifices in time lost with family etc. I know because I’ve certainly put my time in over the years with my online marketing business and that time eating factor was one of the reasons why I came out of Internet Marketing for a while several years ago.

However the good news is you don’t have to slog your guts out anymore. Finally online technology has finally caught up and is available to help you with your marketing efforts.

Just as in the old days vacuum cleaners replaced sweeping brushes, Internet business owners are now replacing their old ways of manual labour tasks with online software that can achieve difficult tasks in much less time.

Apps and plugins, tool and systems; pretty much everything you need done can be done ten times as fast with the help of modern gadgets. Plus the beauty of many of these apps etc is installation usually take seconds and are now accessible to even beginners.

I can’t understand why so many marketers won’t invest in some of the best plugins there are. I assume they think they’re saving money by doing those menial tasks manually. It’s crazy old school. And while yes, there’s an element of truth in you’re spending money on apps and software, in the long run, the time you spend doing all these jobs for yourself could be time spent making more money in your business.

Hard graft is pretty noble (up to a point), but if you don’t have to do it, then it’s really pointless.

I’ve always been a big believer in outsourcing anyway so I’m one of the first to grab anything new to make my life easier. I’d sooner be spending my time online making money and meeting people, so I love the idea of automating mostly everything.

Modern living comes with some clever comforts so use them. You would’t not use your microwave would you?
